Grace Bay, in Turks & Caicos, has shared this recipe for its Poke Bowl salad:
You put little bit of sauce in your salmon before arranging on the bowl. Put sushi rice in the center of the bowl and then arrange all the other ingredients around the rice.Add bonito flakes on top of the rice. Now sprinkle a little bit of ferukaki on top of the salmon.
Ingredients:
- Salmon (diced)
- Avocado(diced)
- Baby mixed heirloom tomato (cut into quarters)
- Carrots (julienne)
- Wakame salad
- Mixed seaweed salad
- Pickled cucumber
- Bonito flakes
- Ferukaki (Sprinkle on top of the Salmon)
Recipe for miso/sambal sauce
- 1 tbsp sambal olek
- 1tbsp miso paste
- 1tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 of lemon juice
- 1/2 of orange juice
