7 August 2023 – Surrounded by nature in the heart of São Paulo, Brazil is luxury refuge, Palácio Tangará – part of the prestigious Oetker Collection – and the ideal environment for travellers who want to disconnect and escape from the bustling cosmopolitan city. Expanding on its urban oasis concept, the hotel is delighted to launch a brand-new Lancôme Absolue Spa, making it the first spa in Latin America to offer treatments from the brand’s luxury Absolue line, the gold standard of anti-aging products.
The treatment menu includes exclusive facial massage options with Lancôme technology and refinement, such as Absolue Cyro Sculptor; a 90-minute skin regeneration treatment that creates a sensory shock by alternating between hot and cold temperatures, to promote an immediate lifting effect and guarantee visibly hydrated, replenished, and radiant skin. The Absolue L Extrait treatment, also 90 minutes, uses the unique elixir of the same name, extracted from the regenerative cells of the Lancôme rose, and is applied with unique smoothing petals in gentle movements to reveal firmer, more supple, and radiant skin.
The spa also offers lymphatic drainage massages, an aromatic bath with energizing peeling, and a variety of body massages including aromatherapy, candle, hot stone, de-stress, sports, and shiatsu – a special type of massage that utilises the hands, thumbs, and other body parts to apply pressure on various points in the body.
For visitors seeking extensive treatments, Day Spa packages are available from Tuesday to Friday, including the three-hour long Balance which includes a foot bath, energising body scrub, aromatic bath, 60-minute massage of choice, a trio massage (feet, hands, and head) and a light meal, from R$ 1,953 (currently approx. £319). The two-hour long Flow meanwhile offers a foot bath, trio massage, 60-minute massage of choice, and a light meal from R$ 1,325 (currently approx. £216). Designed by Brazilian architect, Patrícia Anastassiadis, the spa at Palácio Tangará is inspired by the greenery of the verdant Burle Marx Park that surrounds the hotel. Alongside saunas, a jacuzzi, and a semi-Olympic indoor pool, the six treatment rooms – including one for couples – creates a calming atmosphere of tranquillity and ultimate well-being.
