Rosewood’s curators get increasingly relevant to luxury hotel travellers

Latest to join Rosewood’s advisor list, which already includes marvellous nonogenarian Iris Apfel,  is Italian woman of the world Anna Dello Russo, editor at large and creative consultant at Vogue Japan.  As the Rosewood Curator for Tuscany, Dello Russo shares her insights into the best ways to experience the region, including her tips on what to wear when staying at Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco. 90 minutes’ drive from Florence, this former private club, still owned by Massimo Ferragamo, has 4,200 acres in the UNESCO-listed Val d’Orcia National Park. GM David Bertilaccio oversees the 33-room resort, where guests can learn Tuscan cooking, take gardening lessons, and play 18 holes of Tom Weisskopf golf. They can also follow Anna Dello Russo’s recommendations when it comes to personal gear.  She suggests packing a cashmere blanket for a romantic picnic in the vineyards, a yoga outfit for a relaxing practice in one of the most peaceful settings in the world and, always, a comfortable pair of walking shoes for excursions through Tuscany’s incomparable countryside. castigliondelbosco.com
