The Murray will be the next Niccolo hotel – under Duncan Palmer

All original windows on the Murray Building were angled, to avoid direct sunlight

Hotelier Duncan Palmer is one of those professionals with oodles of style and we can be sure that, as MD of The Murray, a Niccolo Hotel, Hong Kong, it will show.  The 336-room building, on Cotton Tree Drive in Central, is an adaptation of what was, when it opened in 1969, Hong Kong’s tallest building, the 27-floor Murray Building.  Lord Norman Foster is reimagining the exterior, to include a rooftop bar.  To show the concept’s super-luxury, when the hotel opens this October bathroom toiletries will be by Lorenzo Villoresi.
