Monte-Carlo might be in lock-down but, once that is lifted, the Principality will be waiting with open arms – see, above, a view of the harbour, from Hôtel de Paris, one of SBM’s gorgeous luxury hotels.
And there will be something new. Hotel Port Palace, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World property literally nestled into the high sides of the harbour, has been bought by the Madar Group, owner of over 600 retail stores throughout France. Girlahead is told Hotel Port Palace will be upgraded, with even better service.
Meanwhile, during lock-down, Monaco’s Tourism & Convention Authority wants the world to know that the Principality misses them more than ever, by sending them a simple message: “Take care of yourself, we miss you!”
During this hiatus for the tourism industry, the Monaco Tourist & Convention Authority is keen to stay in touch with everyone who loves to travel, whether they are already familiar with the Principality or planning to visit once the crisis is over. The tourist board has rolled out a new communication campaign to let them know just how much they are missed in Monaco.
The Principality is missing everything its visitors bring, from those treasured moments of friendship and fun, to their opinions, their valued custom, their languages, and of course the “wow” factor experienced by everyone who comes to Monaco. All of the things that, together, make it the vibrant and dynamic country that it is.
The Monaco Tourist & Convention Authority’s usual “FOR YOU” slogan — a warm invitation to take advantage of all the incredible things the Principality has to offer — has evolved into a simple declaration of affection: “MISS YOU.” This new slogan is supported by friendly messages and pictures, to remind the world of those precious times that we look forward to sharing again. They show touching snapshots of life, with happy people spending unforgettable moments together in Monaco. www.visitmonaco.com SEE THE VIDEO, BELOW
