Marilyn is great to have aboard

Sometimes the allure of one’s fellow passengers is complemented by onboard art.  After 24 hours aboard Silver Shadow, sailing from Sydney to Auckland, the gal has met up with three friends she knew were going to be aboard.  Here are three Marilyns she would love to have aboard (I am the turquoise T-shirt, marked BEACH, that has somehow got into this photo).

There is a parade of Marilyn Monroe photos outside the main Terrazza, breakfast and lunch buffet that turns into fine Italian à la carte by night. To be greeted by MM before you get your first cup of double Americano is a great way to start a day at sea. Why don’t luxury hotels do the same?
