Simply Sunday. We can all shove flowers in a pot, and sometimes they look all the better for NOT being arranged. It is a long time since I have seen fresh flowers at airline check-in – but good marks to British Airways for having fresh marigold in the aircraft washrooms, at least in First and Club (Business). Good marks too to Silversea for putting lovely orchid plants in cabins – reminds the gal of home, where her last dining-table orchid lasted a full three months, much better value than cut flowers.
