Simply Sunday. Two days ago was World Happiness Day but why were all the heads of ‘happiness organisations’ not even smiling when they were being interviewed on CNN? At the latest gathering of that unique concept to put luxury hotels with their markets, ILTM (in Kyoto this last week), a Russian told the gal he always judged business potential by smiles.
Three young ladies put smiles on everyone’s faces at one of the ILTM Japan parties, at the brand-new Ritz-Carlton Kyoto. The trio had been in business attire for the last few days. That night all were in frocks. Alison Gilmore had midnight-black legs, Lucy Clifton had delicate spring-growth legs and I had purple-orchid legs. Everyone around smiled. The morale is definitely, when packing for a business or a leisure trip, include something that does not take up a lot of space but can result in smiling fun. (PS as you read this, Alison is in Australia, Lucy is in England and GirlAhead is flying somewhere high over Mongolia, oh what an international world this is.)
