Luxury travel tip – a good Thai massage can be MAGnificent

Thai massage looks horrendous but feels DIVINE

Thai massage looks horrendous but feels DIVINE

Simply Sunday.  There is nothing like a really great Thai massage to get rid of lumps, knots, aches and pains and this is what the gal was doing LAST Sunday.

Bangkok’s famous Pacific Club, 300 yards east of the Erawan Shrine and almost at Nana Sky Train station, is now managed by Six Senses. The fit and healthy achievers in town head there for a good work out in the gym, and/or have a massage.

I have long maintained that a good work-out before and after a long flight is the perfect antidote to jet lag. I now add in a massage, too, as long as it is really really good – and for even more style, then head to the adjacent Pacific Club dining room for dim sum brunch. Great way to spend a Sunday!
