Everyone needs a hobby!
Simply Sunday. The importance of a short time off, or longer, is essential. It is easier if you have a hobby. One of my many interests is keeping up with world events, which I do with the help of talking to knowledgeable people, reading The Economist (even weeks late), and the Financial Times (increasingly less useful, actually). I do not consider keeping fit a hobby – it is as essential a routine as cleaning teeth, and going to bed.
In Shanghai, head for The Bund most early morning and you see kite-flyers, who have been practising their hobby for centuries. A hobby is as personal as the word ‘luxury’. Each to his, or her own. Everyone has a unique vision of the perfect luxury hotel.
