The breakfast view from Four Seasons Hotel Marrakech is one of Girlahead’s happiest memories of the last visit to that beautiful Moroccan city (even though it rained after breakfast, for just a short refreshing time). Stay there for space and fresh air, clear atmosphere, deep breaths, and superb views of snow-capped Atlas Mountains. The 161-key resort is next to Menara Gardens, and five minutes from the Medina, is owned by Kingdom Holding. There are bedrooms in a four-floor building as well as single riads. Girlahead last stayed in 60sq m #321, with a 20sq m overlooking inner gardens. The room itself has a soft sand-coloured tiled floor, with scatter rugs, and ragged walls. Hotel GM is Thomas Krooswijk, a long-time foodie and family man with maximum empathy as well as professionalism.
Four Seasons Hotel Marrakech is ten minutes’ drive from the airport. Marrakech is one of the anchor bases of Jetex – hear the founder and CEO of this Dubai-based private aviation company, Adel Mardini, on Podcast, now:
