Glamping next to an English stately home, and more hot news

Eynsham Hall,  Oxfordshire, is the site for Camp Hox, a pop-up luxury glamping experience that runs all August. Fortunately the memorable stately home, near Witney, is owned by Ennismore CEO Sharan Pasricha (he bought the 17th century pile two years ago – it has 135 rooms in total and he has planning permission to add a 80-room wing). Be that as may, every night for the next 31 days 12 lucky couples will have booked luxury tents in the grounds. ‘Rooms’ are ensuite, and they are equipped with bedding from Pasricha’s Hoxton hotels. You get a barbeque, to cook your own dinner, and breakfast is delivered, tent-service style.

Girlahead loves cooperation, so well done Canada and Israel for working together. On 21st July  the Israel Ministry of Tourism signed a corporate partnership with IGTO Canada and its ACTA retail travel agency members. The idea is that Canadian companies learn just how broad  a spectrum Israel niche experiences offer – and the bottom line revenue that can be generated. As Wendy Paradis, ACTA President says, “It is fantastic that Israel and ACTA will be working together to educate travel agents across Canada on this very unique and intriguing destination, as well as jointly promoting Israel and the value of working with a professional travel agent when planning for a trip of a lifetime.”
