Simply Sunday musings

Rosewood London, above, has lots of style. Also, its Sense Spa Face Place GIVES THE BEST FACIAL EVER, at least according to former it-girl and model Rosemary Ferguson. She and her husband, architect Jake Chapman – one half of THE CHAPMAN BROTHERS – have three children and she obviously therefore relishes such necessary pampering.

When modelling, she partnered with Prada, Miu Miu and Dolce & Gabbana among many uber-glitzy other couture houses. Now she is nutritionist to the stars, a naturopath and a lifestyle coach. AT GLENEAGLES SHE WILL BE DOING THREE RETREATS.  The first is 22 – 25 November 2021, followed by two more, one each in January 2022 and March 2022.

GLENEAGLES IS NOW PART OF ENNISMORE, THE BRAND, which simultaneously wraps up all Accor’s lifestyle. And Gleneagles’ MD, Conor O’Leary, is overseeing opening, in March 2022, of Gleneagles’ Edinburgh townhouse. GIRLAHEAD HOPES HE, TOO, HAS TIME FOR SOME PAMPERING.

One challenge with offering ‘retreats’ is that the market does not always understand what they are all about. Perhaps sometimes – not with Gleneagles – more clarification is needed.
