This exclusive list of course includes Frankfurt’s Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof (above), plus Steigenberger Grandhotel & Spa Petersberg, Steigenberger Parkhotel Düsseldorf, Steigenberger Grandhotel Belvédère Davos, Steigenberger Wiltcher’s in Brussels and the Steigenberger Grandhotel Handelshof Leipzig. Steigenberger Icons falls into Deutsche Hospitality’s just-announced luxury segment, headed by GM Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof Spiridon Sarantopoulos, whose new business cards will add VP Luxury Hotels, Deutsche Hospitality (he reports directly to Marcus Bernhardt, with all other Icon GMs reporting to him).
In Tanzania, the all-inclusivenine tents, with sweeping views out across the Serengeti plains, have private pantries, dining and fitness areas, and meditation decks for outdoor yoga. There is a shared swimming pool in the main camp area, and you have a fitness centre, a Boutique & Gallery and, dependent upon area connectivity, there is mobile phone signal and free WiFi.
