Mauritian company New Mauritius Hotels Ltd, led by CEO Gilbert Espitalier-Noël, has handed management of its 500-acre Royal Palm resort, seven miles from the centre of Marrakech, to AccorHotels’ Luxury division, headed by Luxury CEO Chris Cahill. What is now Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech has 134 rooms and suites and an 18-hole golf course designed by Cabell Robinson.
