What the Fairmont will look like

Century Plaza in Los Angeles has a history of reinvention since its 1966 beginnings: having tried Westin and then Hyatt, its latest incarnation will now be Fairmont. It re-opens 2018 after a $2.5 billion spend that will result in a 394-room hotel with 63 branded residences, and behind will be a pair of new 46-floor towers with 290 additional residences and retail. Architects Pei Cobb Freed, Gensler and Marmol Radzinger are complemented by Yabu Pushelberg interiors. Owner is Woodridge Capital, ceo Michael Rosenfeld, whose portfolio already includes Kohala HI Fairmont Orchid and San Francisco Fairmont
