LVMH’s Belmond is in on the act. Next month Coquelicot, A Belmond Boat, Champagne, will glide through the Champagne area.
Belmond is partnering with Maison Ruinart. The Maison’s Chef In Residence Valérie Radou will join Coquelicot’s onboard chef preparing a ‘four hands’ lunch aboard and there are private guided tours of Ruinart’s historic Taissy vineyard, which dates back to 1733. Learn about pioneering viti-forestry project in partnership with Reforest’Action and the University of Reims. A technical tasting of iconic Maison Ruinart cuvées is led by a Maison Ambassador.
The boat has three cabins, an indoor salon and an outdoor deck, above. Designers are a French duo, Humbert & Poyet.
