Luxury Hotels

Artists show their stuff, in luxury’s virtual space

JD Malat Gallery, in London’s Mayfair, holds Isolation Mastered, 1-8 July 2020. This is the ideal opportunity to see, and invest, in stunning art – to make homes yet more gorgeous and loved (and, perhaps, luxury hotels can expand their art appeal for their guests).

Isolation Mastered is a chance for 20 UK-based artists to showcase and sell their work at the prestigious Davies Street gallery. A video, below, features rocker and art collector Gavin Rossdale, YBA legend Gavin Turk, GQ editor Dylan Jones and artist Robert Montgomery.

Entries are carefully reviewed by a panel that includes Dylan Jones, Gavin Rossdale, Gavin Turk, Robert Montgomery, Sotheby’s Institute’s Professor David Bellingham, art dealer Simon de Pury and artist Katrin Fridriks. The committee is chaired by JD Malat Gallery owner, Paris-born Jean-David Malat, who trained at Sotheby’s and who is often described as the best-connected in his world, today – his clients include Madonna, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bono, Gordon Ramsay and Kate Moss (and, it is said, royalty). All profits made from the exhibition will be given to the artists involved, to support them as they gradually ease out of lockdown and look to the future.

JD Malat Gallery also invited the public to vote for their favourite artists. The person with the most votes will  receive an exclusive solo show at JD Malat Gallery in 2021.  NOW SEE THE VIDEO, BELOW
