Duncan Palmer, MD of the luxury Murray, a Niccolo Hotel, Hong Kong, celebrates the Year of the Dog, which started February 16th, 2018. Built in 1969 by architect Norman Foster, The Murray soft-opened last month and the final element, Popinjays, rooftop bar and restaurant overlooking Hong Kong’s botanical gardens and park, will be finished by June 2018. There are 336 rooms and suites, all of which have enormous windows meticulously oriented to avoid intrusion of excessive direct sunlight. This is a luxury hotel with superior style – the chef is Fabrice Lesnon, who came from Palazzo Versace, Dubai, and fashion brands are already realising this is THEIR home on Hong Kong Island. Gong hei fat choy!
